My dreams have been sporadic for the past couple of nights, but last night had enough of a narrative that I can try to recount it.
*start of dream*
I'm going to my brother's house. He's living in a house in the country. When I'm waiting for him to open the door, I notice that his mailbox has many letters in it. I grab the mail and notice that it's someone else's name on the envelopes. The last name is Edgemont. My brother opens the door and I tell him he has someone else's mail. My brother than tells me that he's changed his name and so has mom. They are both Edgemonts now. He says it's a long story, but it has something to do with applying for a line of credit.
I go inside and the next thing I remember is I'm standing in the doorway to a guest room. There are a ton of flowers in there - On the wall paper and real bouquets everywhere. Then my mom comes from around the corner and tells me it's her room. She's staying with my brother too.
Next, I'm sitting on the floor of my brother's room, only it's his room from when he was a kid. I look through his collection if LPs. I'm looking for one in particular. I find it. I want to hear "give me that old time rock and roll". I put the LP on the player but accidentally play the B side. It plays "have yourself a merry little Christmas." I'm disappointed, but my brother says to listen to the song first. The song ends, and I try to switch the side but when I'm holding the LP, it crumbles into pieces on the floor.
