Let the
dream count continue… It’s been a while since I’ve had some good dreams. Let me
correct that. A LONG WHILE. It seems that the dream drought has ended, as I’ve
been blessed with some rather interesting, entertaining, and strange dreams in
recent days. Perhaps it is due to the change of season? Am I a seasonal
dreamer???
Anyway, I
will recount what I remember from one of the more memorable ones… Laugh if you
like. My colleagues did when I told them at work the other day!
*start of
dream*
I was a member
of a sun worshipping secret cult. The followers believed that the sun would
soon burn out for those who did not believe in its supreme being. We would
flourish from the sun, grow our vegetables and survive while others would
starve and perish. (Very culty, eh?)
It was an
elaborate scheme to keep our society secret. We were operating out of a university
and members would register to attend worship/class. As we did not want non-cult
folk to join us, the class was only held in the last few weeks of the scheduled
semester, by which time non-members would have given up on attending the class.
We would congregate in an auditorium and watch presentations about what life
would be life after the sun belonged to us alone. Then we would eat – only vegetables.
I, however,
was a non-believer, too afraid to let it be known that I was not truly one of
them.
*end of
dream*
