Yesterday afternoon, I spoke with my mom on the phone. I told her about Wednesday night's dream and she encouraged me to call my brother. I felt like a fool because he's a very practical person and our conversations never veer in the direction of dreams. Anyway, I called and left a message. He returned the call late last night. I didn't want to alarm him because my dream was about his wife, but I felt that I needed to convey as much information as I could. He just listened to me as I told him everything, including the part where my mom and sister were telling me it had something to do with the head or a headache.
And then he asked what night this happened... Okay, I wasn't expecting that question.
I told him it happened Wednesday night and he said that was odd because he woke up with a massive headache on Thursday morning, the biggest he's ever had, he said. This got us on the topic of other recent dreams and we exchanged a few about our dad. It was nice.
So has anyone else ever been spooked by the realism or accuracy of a dream?
